The tagset is now open for nominations!

You can nominate up to 10 fandoms, with a maximum of 10 relationships per fandom. (Some megafandoms and franchise fandoms may have special guidelines: check the clarifications here.) You can also comment on this post to ask questions.

Make sure that you are using & for platonic relationships and / for romantic/sexual relationships!

Please disambiguate your relationship nominations by putting the canon name or an abbreviation for it in parentheses at the end of the tag.

Hi! How would you like to handle nominations for anthology fandoms? I'm thinking about actual-play podcasts and shows like The Adventure Zone and Friends at the Table, which include multiple seasons telling stories in different universes that don't interact with each other. For fandoms like these, the AO3 has a tag for the whole show and the individual stories within it (e.g. The Adventure Zone: Balance or Friends at the Table: Twilight Mirage) are synned to the parent tag. Should we nominate the parent tag in those cases, or the names of the individual seasons?

I just wanted to let you know that a couple of the relationships I nominated under The Gathering (2002) include Any Watcher(s) as part of the relationship.
Within the movie there are characters that aren't individually named, but the group of them are referred to in various ways. One of which is "the people who came to watch" so that's why I chose to refer to them as Any Watcher(s) in my noms.

I have both a question and need to clarify something!

The Winchesters (TV 2022) and Supernatural (TV 2005) are definitely fine being separated, correct?

Also, in regards to Fire Country (TV 2022) - I need to send in a support ticket because the tag got miswrangled but the character is named Gabriela Perez, not Gabriella, per both IMDb and Instagram.

Hi! I'd like to confirm whether CW's Stargirl series should be nominated under DC's Arrowverse or separately. It's officially part of the Arrowverse's multiverse (taking place on an alternate Earth within the Arrowverse), but shares no characters besides a few very brief cameos. It will be crossing over with the shows Doom Patrol and Titans, which are also part of the Arrowverse multiverse but don't interact with Arrowverse characters. It was nominated separately in last year's Chocolate Box, but either way is fine with me.

Seems to be an issue with the pairing tag Twelfth Doctor & The Doctor’s TARDIS, which is under Doctor Who: Eighth Doctor Adventures (a novel series not including the Twelfth Doctor). It does belong under Doctor Who (2005), where it is also listed.

Also, Tenth Doctor/The Master (Simm) also belongs under Doctor Who (2005) only and is incorrectly listed under Doctor Who: Virgin New Adventures.

Thanks! Trust the Doctor to stick his nose in where he’s not wanted… ;-)

Hi! Could you please rename the fandom "Doctrine of Labyrinths - Sarah Monette (Books)" to the canonical "Doctrine of Labyrinths - Sarah Monette" so it categorizes as expected? This is a book-only canon, there are no adaptations afaik.

Hi! My nomination "Delamain/Male V (Cyberpunk 2077)" got changed to the canonical "Delamain AI Core/V (Cyberpunk 2077)". Could you put the gender of V back (since Female V is also an option in the game)? Thank you!

What's your policy for nominating characters that have only appeared in a trailer for a sequel to an extant game? Specifically, I'm considering nominating relationships involving Melinoë, who will be the protagonist of Hades II, the sequel to Hades (Video Game 2018), and considering nominating those relationships under the current Hades fandom tag because I want to nominate Melinoë & [insert several combinations of her parents and brother here].

Hello, I'm the nominator for Snow Man (Japan Band) and I think there may have been a hiccup during approvals — my first nomination was Fukazawa Tatsuya/Iwamoto Hikaru so I'm not sure how it turned into what it did, haha. Thank you!

Hi, mod! I just wanted to provide some info on one of my nominated fandoms - "Roman Britain RPF" - if it will make things easier for you to review. Cartimandua, Venutius and Vellocatus are well-known figures who are easy enough to look up, but some of the other relationships are a bit more obscure. Barates/Regina were a married couple attested on a tombstone: info here. Lucius the gladiator and Verecunda the actress are attested on an inscription from Leicester. Info here. (The linked page describes Verecunda as a dancer, but the Latin word ludia gets variously translated as "actress", "dancer", "performer", etc.)
