Fulton and Porter never interact in canon but what with Fulton's sad fearful gay curiosity (I also ship him with male!Speakeasy, even if I'm not requesting it this go-round, because their duet reads like they're trying to pick each other up; tailor's such a weird, messed-up little man that wants a lot of things he's afraid to want but sure does go for them anyway), plus Porter's sad gay sadness, maybe they could make each other happier. How do they meet and find that out about each other? (I could see this equally as friends-to-coming-out-to-lovers or anonymous-hookup-to-lovers.) Or, if you read Porter as a closeted trans woman, maybe the tailor can help her with clothes that fit her sense of self and they fall in love?

Fulton is one of my all-time faves and his folk magic is one of the things that got me interested in the show, so if that appeals to you too, go ham! I also prefer a Porter on the older side (Andrew P was my fave, who was....a very, very depressed Porter), so while you don't have to make this explicit (and I'm not seeking age gap fic - Fulton can be the same age), I would prefer not going out of the way to emphasize his youth, naïveté or any childlike qualities.

Art request!!! I miss this show so much and would just love more art that would allow me to mentally revisit it or capture the vibe. I'm afraid I don't have a very visual mind or a lot of specific prompts - I love the existence of this world of darkness and magic just below the surface of the "real" world or hidden away in all sorts of places carved out from it (like the apothecary shop, or the fact that the ballroom is also the forest), the precision of movement and position in the pre-ball ritual, how muscular the witch performers' arms and legs are lol. For nsfw ideas, sexy rituals/ritual sex (to make something happen or share power), slow dancing nude or another inverted version of something in the normal world?
