Those scenes are possibly my favorite thing in the whole series, how "Die!"/"I hate you!" are their version of love. And also how Bakugo's dad is the normal one in this very weird situation, but he seems cool with it! I'd love to see more of Bakugo's parents' attempts at trying to wrangle their EXTREMELY over-the-top child when he was a kid, or I LOVED their reaction to Bakugo staying in the dorms ("yes, plz, take him full time, this is the only thing that's ever worn down all his excess killing energy!"), or their sweeter moments too (Bakugo's mom hitting him lovingly lol when he went off to battle, or their moments in the hospital). Also, I'd really like to see Bakugo and his parents at some of his other big life moments: graduation, or starting up his own hero agency, or (if you want to combine with above) his getting together with/getting engaged to Deku.
- Hawks/Endeavor: I love Hawks being a sexy, slutty chaos gremlin, and Endeavor (like us, the viewers) being completely baffled how on earth this became his life and why Hawks is so intent on riding ENDEAVOR's giant cock, of all people's. Hawks being ridiculously unsubtly seductive and Endeavor not knowing what to do with it? - yes, please! Endeavor having only had the most vanilla, inexperienced, 'missionary for necessary procreation purposes' sex, and Hawks throwing every single kink imaginable Endeavor's way, and Endeavor having his gay/bisexual awakening and going hard for ALL of them? - double yes, please! So Hwasa basically made her devastating breakup an entire country’s problem and I can only respect that.

It’s a bit difficult to write prompts for music videos… I think I’m always just left like “okay what is going on here? Please give me all the backstory!” I just love its extremely indie movie romantic drama vibes and would love to see what you extrapolate from it.

I also love Hwasa’s performance of this song at the Blue Dragon awards and how much chemistry she and Park Jeong-Min had while just standing there. It had me looking up celebrity romance novels for hours and then giving up and just rewatching the performance. SO it’ll be really fun and meta if you want to write something where the characters in this MV are specifically celebrities who catch feelings in some capacity too. BUT that’s just a suggestion. I just really want more exploration of the melancholy “end of a relationship but we still really matter to each other” vibe of this MV and song.

Some prompts (taking this from my Yuletide signup which is why it’s longer than the other canon requests on here but please don’t take this as a sign of preference! All these fandoms/requests are dear to me):
-Canon divergence fic where Phedre and Barquiel really do manage to trust each other in the second book and work together. Maybe Josclin runs off earlier and so Phedre takes Barquiel up on an assignation request and things spiral from there.
-Alternately… they both clearly have regret over not trusting each other in the second book and before Phedre takes Joscelin on as concert she and Barquiel work out some of these issues through sex because /waves hands, maybe there was a vision from Kushiel
-The two of them bonding over being widely traveled and generally not being snobs about it, or him taking interest in some of her political reforms, etc.
-Barquiel asking Phedre for her opinion on Drustran and whether he really will be a good husband for Ysandre (Or something along these lines… I really do adore their mutual love for Ysandre!)
-Something in between books 2 and 3 where they’re working together to try and figure out where Melisande hid Imriel. Maybe there are red herrings that have them thinking he was hidden in Khebbel-im-Akkad.
Regarding their canonical long-term relationships (if you do go the route of ship fic): Totally fine with any mentions of Joscelin or Nicola or Barquiel’s wife. I always like that Terre D’Ange does that whole “love as thou wilt” thing, but that in practice it can get a bit more complicated, emotionally speaking. So I’m fine with it if you want to set it during a time period when, say, Joscelin is angry as hell that Phedre has patrons, and I’m also fine with setting it during a time period when they’ve mostly worked out that side of things. Basically fine with any mentions of all the other relationships these two have, and with any relevant characters appearing just so long as the focus is on Phedre and Barquiel here!

Fandom DNWs: Them doing the “harem fantasy” that Phedre’s patrons sometimes have her do. Setting the fic during Imriel’s trilogy… Just kinda bums me out how bumbling Barquiel sometimes gets in those books

Okay so … movie Stebbins and book Stebbins are both really really different. Sometimes the same lines but extremely different vibe. And over the past few months it’s just been really really fun to imagine them as separate entities that interact. I tend to imagine them as brothers and the other is just … not on camera in the book or movie because obviously he’s not on the Walk. It’s fun to imagine book Stebbins being like “ugh of course my jock older brother would be picked for the walk even though I’m more prepared!!!” And it’s also fun to imagine movie Stebbins never getting picked and then being like ??? when his younger brother (who is less of a fitness guy) is picked. It’s so easy to imagine them having a weird and codependent dynamic or also being pretty disdainful of each other or all kinds of things in between.

Also extremely fun to imagine the orders dissolving between the book and movie and these two meeting each other for the first time. They both have a sort of uncanny air but I think even they would not know how to deal with finding their kinda sorta not really doppelgänger. Maybe this happens in a canon divergence scenario where a Stebbins wins and also does that thing where he just keeps walking. And the shadowy figure on the horizon for him is … this other version of himself.

I don’t know I just find both versions of this character very fun and different enough that I want to get them in the same room together (or maybe the same road) just to see what would happen okay!!

Also requesting art for this one although I’m not too sure how to go about requesting art. Again, really just want to see them in the same space interacting! I like all kinds of art styles so do whatever feels natural to you. I do like that the book is implied to be more colorful than the muted tones we get in the movie. (Stebbins purple pants!! You will always be famous) So it’ll be more than welcome if you want to do some colorful 70s hues here.

I love apocalypses, I love horror, I love creepy extended metaphors for a character’s emotional struggles and I love how much this game leaves open for interpretation. Feel free to go as dark or gory as you’d like. In terms of setting, no country is ever outright specified (though we can make an educated guess); if you want to get specific, feel free to make the setting Russian, or Czech (like the beer), or anywhere else you’d like to explore.
A note on POV/names: I’ll take anything. Use original names if you’d like. Or avoid names and stick to pseudonyms; I love that no one’s name is ever used in this game (aside from Kitty <3), which really emphasises the Protagonist’s total isolation from human contact. Use any POV you’d like – is it easier to write in first or second person POV? Outsider POV? For this canon, go nuts.

Optional prompts

-The Prophet is invited into the house. Does that change things? Does it lead to a different ending?
-A scene out on the porch in the middle of a quiet night. Maybe the Protagonist stumbles on a meaningful section in the Prophet’s book? Something they both connect over? Give me a moment of closeness in the middle of the end of the world.
-Hurt/comfort. I love how the dynamic between these two changes. The Prophet starts out trying to help the Protagonist (LET THE CAT IN), but by the end he’s almost blind, suffers memory loss, finds himself abandoned, and admits to being scared. By the end, he’s asking the Protagonist for help – and he’s clearly dying. Is there anything the Protagonist could do to help? At the very least, give this man a hug!
-More hurt/comfort. Given what we find out about the Protagonist’s parents in the new ending, this is something he could talk about with the Prophet (who is essentially an emissary of Death – and is implied to have died himself before the game starts). I can’t imagine the Prophet being cruel about the Protagonist’s past. At worst he’s vague, but often empathetic.
-Time loop: ”So, we meet again. I remember things were a bit different last time we crossed paths.” This setting lends itself to time loop shenanigans. Does the Prophet remember things sometimes; does the Protagonist ever have flashbacks to previous iterations? Is there a loop where they both manage to live and find a new purpose together?

Where to review this canon

This game has been covered by a LOT of streamers. so there are plenty of YouTube videos available. The two endings with additional scenes from the Prophet are “Yes, I’m a Murderer” and “Embrace the Inevitable”; he has no extra content for other endings. The wiki includes a script for all character interactions; you can look for the Prophetic Man’s wiki page to read a script of all his conversations with the Protagonist.

Anders Hellman/Male V: my thoughts after emerging from the Sunset Motel scene with Hellman were 1: oh no, and 2: someone needs to rail some joy into that man.
-Maybe V sticks Hellman into a safe house after the interrogation and stops by to let him gather more data? Hellman seems like he adapts fairly well to unexpected circumstances, as long as he sees a benefit for himself. Does his disdain for V change with time? Does V’s anger settle down if Hellman is able to help?
-The night before storming Arasaka Tower, do they both agree on ‘we’ll never discuss this again’ hatesex (and does V betray Arasaka afterwards anyway)?
-A post-game story where V wakes up and finds himself in a new body (which he wanted!) but stuck having to pay it back...as Hellman’s new bodyguard.
Bryce Mosley/Male V: I want more interaction between V and Netwatch Agent Mosley (Probably not his real name!). The conflict at the GIM is so interesting, and I just want MORE mystery and mistrust and tension-riddled cooperation.
-V manages to find Mosley again to get the tracker removed – how does that conversation go? Can they agree to work together? Are things more relaxed now that Netwatch has taken care of Brigitte’s side?
-V takes on a side quest for Netwatch, with Mosley as the contact in his ear (and the Netrunner taking down all the cameras for him). I love competent people being excellent at their jobs, so a scene showing mistrustful cooperation would be excellent!
-Mosley likes Western movies, which would be hilarious a Nomad. V should find an excuse to haul Mosley out into the Badlands for a bit (because there are definitely lots of threats to the Blackwall out there, honest).

-Maybe Corbeau wanders over to the coffee truck in full Poke-mafia getup. He drops comments about how it’s looking worn (paint peeling! Cushions faded! Such a shame!) and offers a loan to the small business owner responsible for it. But Grisham isn’t gullible. How would that play out? (Pokemon battle? Corbeau discovering exactly how strong Grisham is? Grisham being one of the few people in Lumiose City who isn’t afraid of Corbeau?)
-In the DLC Corbeau makes an interesting comment about Grisham: “He’s tricky. Very strong, but you can never quite tell what he’s thinking.” Let's see Corbeau trying to work Grisham out, get under his skin, find out what makes him vulnerable – and getting attached. Likewise for Grisham – he’s so standoffish, and he deserves a chance at connecting with someone new.
-Grisham’s past makes him an outcast, and Corbeau enjoys being the guy everyone’s afraid of. They should work together on an illegal sidequest (for the good of the city, although the city will never know they saved it).
-Corbeau makes a pass at Grisham, gets no response, and figures he’s blown his chances. But then he starts receiving gifts – fresh pastries, strong coffees, treats for Scolipede. Is he being seduced? He’s not sure, but it would be too easy to ask. He has to make it as difficult as possible.
Griselle/Lebanne
-They should get to be explosively angry together. This feels like a ‘fire, meet gasoline’ situation. Show me the first time they meet, antagonise each other, and spark a battle that leaves bits of Lumiose City smoking!
-The DLC had a fun little interaction between them after Lebanne loses her doubles battle with Jacinthe. Griselle tells Lebanne she’ll “slip you some coffee during visitation hours” (HAH), and I’d like to see this actually happen!
-Free Lebanne. Griselle working with her to try and train her so she can beat Jacinthe. Griselle herself is familiar with what it feels like to make a mistake and then spend a long time afterwards having to pay for it; in many ways, she’s trapped too. But she’s trying to move on, and maybe part of that is helping Lebanne be free?
-Griselle bringing coffee to the Hotel Richissime. Maybe she has to come by a quiet back door (can’t use the front door, she’s not a guest!) and Lebanne comes to meet her?
-Lebanne sneaking out on breaks to stop by the coffee cart and talk to Griselle. Does it start as two angry people needing someone to vent to, and grow into something more?

I love the weird age gap dynamic of "old enough to be my father" except there's also time travel involved so things get messy. I love the whole part where Yashiro feels completely empty until he fails to kill Satoru and actually stops kidnapping and murdering because he's too busy shaving Satoru's face and cutting apples for him. Most of all, I just really love the idea of neither one of them being able to completely change the other - Yashiro will probably always be a sociopath and Satoru can't stop trying to save people.

Prompts:

Yashiro isn't been stupid enough to try and murder a kid in the hospital that everyone knew he was connected to and as a result, Satoru's plan fails. Now, it's a cat and mouse game between the two as Satoru continues to try to prove that Yashiro's a killer - and Yashiro's torn between murder and some strange feeling that might be... love? Or Satoru never regains his memories and Yashiro plays the doting former teacher, trying to figure out if he's faking since he wants to know exactly how Satoru knew his future.

Some sort of Bluebeard fusion, because really, Yashiro would definitely be the type of asshole who would tell someone, “Look, you can go anywhere in the house, just stay out of this room. Let me repeat, STAY OUT OF THIS VERY SECRET AND FORBIDDEN ROOM OF MYSTERIES.” Naturally, Satoru doesn't, but let's say this one doesn't end with people getting their heads chopped off.

Ah, my beloved original terrible doomed couple of sadness. I started getting nostalgic for these two once again, because they were one of the first anime I ever watched (blame AMVs and Sarah McLachlan's Possession for that one) and just how screwed-up their relationship was. For those not familiar, Takaya is just your average vaguely delinquent high school student who suddenly has to contend with spirits being summoned, people trying to murder him, and a handsome older man in a suit, Naoe, who calls him Kagetora and says he's a possessor who's been fighting the Underworld for centuries. But you know, it's fine, Naoe's protective and supportive and definitely not someone with an obsessive relationship with Kagetora that now finally might have the upper hand on his “master” who's currently a very confused teenager that's realizing all sorts of complicated feelings for him.

Also, while I am vaguely familiar with the novels and OVA, I'd prefer the main anime canon to be the primary basis for this.

Prompts:

One of the reasons I love the anime is that it's very open ended so I'd love something that works off the ending where Naoe just sort of walks away while Takaya's wearing his jacket because that was just a killer ending image and also probably as hopeful as this series was going to get. And you know, as much as I adore the suffering and misery of these two, I also kind of would love for them to have something nice that doesn't end in tears – maybe Takaya getting a good day out with Naoe where both of them are able to enjoy themselves or some hurt/comfort where they're actually able to both take some time to breathe and rest up?

Canon divergence is also fun here and just in case you think I want just happy, uncomplicated things for them, I have this one nagging thought of what if Naoe ran into Takaya when he was just a kid and decides that hey, Genji had a good idea (maybe Takaya ran away from home because of some sort of underworld thing and Naoe's just like, well, finders, keepers). Meanwhile, Chiaki and Haruie are definitely judging Naoe for this, but then again, on the list of bad decisions he's made...

So I feel like giving so many warnings for this manhwa because it is not a happy one in the slightest. This is not a pretty manhwa – It is deeply fucked-up from start to finish and just when you can't think it can't get worse, oh, it does. It's the story of a young man, Kyunghee, who ends up selling himself to a wealthy much older man, Sihyun (who looks his age and is not drawn for romance), to help pay for college. But he gets sick of how possessive he is and decides to dump him and move on. Hmm, what's that? His mother has a new boyfriend who wants to meet Kyunghee? Oh, I'm sure that's going to go great. (It does not.) And then what follows is Sihyun basically breaking Kyunghee, an eager classmate/”friend” of Kyunghee determined to save him (two yanderes for the price of one), and just everything ending in misery and tragedy. It's such a twisted, bleak manhwa and I love it so much.

Prompts:

So yes, the ending is just depressing and horrible and I'd love more of it. Give me Sihyun knowing he can't ever get more than the broken shards of Kyunghee and being totally fine because at least they're all his. Give me Kyunghee hating Sihyun but still staying with him, letting him take care of him because it's the best way he knows to punish himself. Give me anything with the two of them trapped together, because it's the only path they have left.

What if Sihyun decided to play the long game with Kyunghee? Instead of dialing it up to 100 right off the bat, what if he was smarter about it and began removing all of Kyunghee's escape options before he made his move? Maybe Sihyun realizes that he can use Kim Junsik by manipulating him to make Kyunghee feel like he has no option but to turn to Sihyun. (Or you know, there's also convenient amnesia to just make things so much worse – what if Kyunghee was the one that was stabbed and he wakes up to a whole tangled web with no way to get out of it and no knowledge of how he got in?)

창 없는 방 | A Room Without Windows (Webcomic)

Cha Jihoon/Song Gitae (A Room Without Windows)

This is sort of the opposite of the other manhwa I requested, in that it starts out seemingly fucked-up before you realize that hey, this is actually kind of sweet and wholesome in a “well, things are still all on fire but at least your boyfriend's the one holding the flamethrower on your behalf.” It's about Song Gitae, a young man who wakes up to find himself in a windowless room missing a foot and a good chunk of memory. But hey, there's this adorable puppy of a guy named Cha Jihoon who just wants to take care of him and really, he had to cut off his foot, it's for his own good. And spoilers... it actually was. See it turns out that this dark captor manhwa is actually a zombie apocalypse manhwa, Jihoon has done all of this to keep Gitae safe, and Gitae's basically forgotten most of his past because it was deeply traumatic and horrible until Jihoon saved his life. It's actually weirdly cute once the truth is revealed and even though there's some trauma, it's nothing that bashing a few fuckers in the head can't solve.

(Note: the alternate English title for this is Legroom, in case you're looking to pick it up.)

Prompts:

Just more of the two of them in their weirdly cozy zombie apocalypse lifestyle. I was a sucker for Bill/Frank in The Last of Us for the same reason here: Jihoon leading a quiet , survival-oriented lifestyle until Gitae came into his life and now everything he does revolves around keeping him safe and happy. I know it's implied that pretty much the entire world has died off but them by the end, but hey, if you want any outsider perspective of the two of them, I'd love to see it. Or maybe something to do with Gitae having Pantene-worthy hair by the end (seriously, that boy is so damn pretty after the time skip and I'm a sucker for long hair).

This is also one of those canons that was built for “someone took you/presumably killed you and now I'm going to go on a rampage until I find you and bring you back home/get revenge,” so hey, I'd be down for that, or any kind of hurt/comfort, especially with Gitae on the hurt side because he is just a magnet for that sort of thing. Or maybe a divergence where Jihoon met Gitae sooner and saved him from at least some of all that trauma so he doesn't immediately start off thinking that he's been captured by some psychotic kidnapper with a foot fetish. (Seriously, that shot of Jihoon smiling with the saw is both adorable and so creepy.)

I don't know who nominated this, but I want to bless you for introducing me to this wondrous opera because wow, this is such a delightful pairing. Montfort is not a good person but he truly loves his son once he realizes who he is and will move heaven and earth to make sure he's happy. And Henri, for his part, is pretty quick to jump in front of a blade for a man he hated not that long ago, and then the two of them just singing about their relationship... oh, it's everything I love. So please give me more of these two and their twisted, tangled connections: Guy trying to make up for lost time by ensuring his son never leaves his side and Henri, succumbing despite knowing that his father stands for everything he should be against.

Prompts:

Maybe Henri takes Helene's supposed betrayal at the end at face value and goes ahead and storms off with his father, leaving her and Procida behind. Naturally, the plan is ruined but you know Procida won't just stop, so Henri not only has to contend with a broken heart but also maybe an assassination attempt or two. Luckily, his loving father is right there to comfort and take care of him and remind him that he'll always have him for anything he desires. Anything.

What if Montfort, in accordance with his nature, had not taken no for an answer and ended up imprisoning Henri early on, only to find out later that he was his son? Not the best first meeting, but Montfort's fairly sure that given enough time and... persuasion, Henri will come around.

Karoly/Gyula: I adore Karoly's narrator-voice whenever he's talking about Gyula, how Karoly admires Gyula's many skills and talents and yet can't quite seem to keep it out of mind that Gyula doesn't have a scientist's education and would rather end an argument with a punch than a lecture. (And sometimes seems to admire that too.) I'd love something pre-canon for them, more of their time working together at the institute? passing time on a dig somewhere? (I am totally fine with them playing the 'what-if time travel game' so long as it's not implied that it'll never happen later etc). Gyula fixing things? Karoly breaking them? Or maybe Karoly getting to do a little bit of archaeological showing off and Gyula learning from him? I will love anything about them. <3 Any amount of shippiness is wonderful.

Matyas/Gyula: There's plenty of extra space in canon for missing scenes to have happened, whether Karoly wasn't aware of them or didn't want to write them down for Reasons or whatever :D I'm also very much into any sort of time travely AU, whether the whole party travels to an earlier date, or Gyula travels alone, or even Matyas comes forward (temporarily?) to the future. I adore Gyula's stubbornness and his absolute will to fix things even when other people are determined they're unfixable, and I'm fascinated by what interactions they might have, whether as in canon or in an AU where Gyula wasn't bound to say nothing about the future.

I really adore these two so much!! How Jonathan is just this absolute mess of a human being throughout the entire game and Laszlo is just trying to take his thermal baths in peace and keeps getting interrupted to talk about increasingly rare historical minutiae lol. I'd love some scene where Jonathan does take him up on actually having a bath, or maybe there's some reason why Laszlo has to know more about the time travel? Or even gets wrapped up in it somehow? (I love all AUs messing with the nature of time travel in this game - maybe Jonathan gets the ring earlier, or it works differently, or time travel doesn't necessarily cause a paradox, or whatever.) Or maybe something well postcanon where they meet again sometime later? (please ignore Miazma canon if you do this one)

Any amount of shippiness is good for me here, from pwp to one-sided or oblivious flirting! I also really like Juli as a character - whatever you do with her and Jonathan's relationship is fine, whether they break it off, or it's an AU where they never got together, or Jonathan is cheating on her, or it's an open relationship, whatever is good!

This fandom is such a delight for loyalty kink!! I'd love more about how Iosif realized he loved Vlad, or how that manifests post-canon. Very much also into any manifestation of the threesome - Ilona/Vlad\Iosif, or full poly, is all wonderful. Does Ilona know that Iosif loves Vlad, and what's her take on it? (Does Vlad know that Iosif loves him?)

I like Hange using she/her pronouns and gendernonconforming; they/them pronouns is also fine.

Hange is my favorite character in the series. I think she has some complex undercurrents that do not often get explored, and would like a fic that examined some of those parts more deeply. I appreciate her contradictions - capable of enormous cruelty and also deep compassion for those unconsidered by others (we see this with titans themselves), a funny character who has capability for deep thought, a scientist existing in a world that does not like truth seekers. For much of her life, scientists could get summarily executed if they asked the wrong questions! Scouts are already known as heretics! What kind of person chooses the path Hange firmly sticks to in a world that despises such things? I think this makes Hange both strong in character and also cool. Please write me a fic where she gets to be seen for her good points as well as her flaws, and regarded as cool!

Hange & Annie: Annie likes people who fly in the face of convention, we see this in her forceful mentorship of Eren. Could she not also like Hange? What if the scouts cracked the crystal early, or Annie joined the scouts instead of military police, and they got to know each other...?
Eren & Hange: Parallels between two people with deep anger issues. Eren still struggles with his, Hange has rechanneled hers with at least some success. She has things to teach him, as well as things to learn from him.
Erwin&/Hange: A very underexplored relationship in canon but it must have been there. What was their friendship like? How did they help each other? Swinging into weird shippy vibes would also be very fun.
Hange&/Pieck: Two enemies who team up! Big titan lady HRRNGH!! I would love some mind games and/or some fraught kissing and/or Hange getting to play around with Pieck as the cart titan.

►► 1-note "miser" characterization to the point of absurdity for Kakuzu (refusing to buy quality weapons when they are shinobi who need to win fights; refusing to pay for shelter in disastrous weather conditions such as blizzards etc). Kakuzu is very focused on acquiring funds but he doesn't actually seem to obsess over not spending money ever in canon! He profile lists expensive tastes!

Kakuzu is my niche fave and I think his background, as implied in the databooks, is actually so interesting with lots to mine for stories about him. He lived before villages were set up? They thought he could take down Hashirama! He's yet another victim of the shinobi system and it didn't improve him as a person any. I also love the body horror of the forbidden jutsu that took him over and what it implies about his physiology... I think his fixation on money is very understandable as in his own life he's probably seen bonds born of loyalty and love and blood fray and break, while greed remains. I think there is a deep cynicism in his character, of course, but also I think he is one of the funniest characters in the manga who lands some great zingers on Hidan ("your head's lighter") and also... I really do think that now and again, we see vestigial traits of a guy who was once probably pretty honorable and alright for a shinobi popping out. He acknowledges his opponents with respect when he feels it is warranted, and he is there to get his job done. His murder of you is not personal. I would like something that explored him as a person rather than just a one-arc villain to knock down.

Kakuzu & Konan: what if he were an early Akatsuki recruit who knew her when she was much younger? I feel like Konan is the kind of skilled, reserved person he could easily get along with. Would love some weird mentorship.
Kakuzu & Sasori: the two surgeons of the Akatsuki, two self-made immortals! There are interesting parallels here. Let them talk shop, cordially hate each other, or be weird friends...
Kakuzu/Madara: what if they met while they were both missing nin? What if Madara had already started brewing the idea of the Akatsuki and made Kakuzu one of the early recruits? A sharingan mindfuck to ensure loyalty would be a fun start...
Kakuzu/Tsunade: the parallels! They're both connected to Hashirama. She loses money, he accrues money. She left her village and went back, he left to never return. What if they met while Tsunade was outside the village? I'm a sucker who'd love something darkly romantic for this or even something simply charged and fraught and weird that stuck with them both forever.

I was so excited watching this episode when I saw Galina incorporated into the alien, because I was sure, I was SURE, that when she woke up she'd get to speak for herself and tell Afriel that she'd changed her mind about betraying the Swarm to humanity and had chosen to join the Swarm to fight on the alien's side so they stayed as they were. You can imagine my crushing disappointment when she woke briefly and was horrified by her state.

What I'm most interested in here is a weird-style fix-it fic: where Galina made that choice and gave herself up to the Swarm because she went over to their side. And I'd like her to be rewarded for that, I'd like for the Swarm to take her beyond the limits of humanity to totally new and unimaginable experiences, and I'd love for it to be a twisted little love story.

If you don't want to go with a (for the aliens only) fix-it, I'd still love a fic about Galina and Swarm, and Galina as part of Swarm. It seems like they could be together for a very long time, and why should Swarm only enjoy Afriel's company? After all, Swarm has two intelligent fellow sentients it could converse with. I could picture a tale of alien abduction Stockholm syndrome here, or a gradual shift along the spectrum of no-no-yes, aided by the tentacles Swarm appears to use to interface with Galina's brain.

- How did he decide what he was going to do? How do they manage with each other afterwards? Their whole plotline seemed like setup for something, and I'm really curious about what...

- There are also parallels between what Telakar did with Elena and what Isladar did with Kiriel—obviously those are very different relationships, of course, and Isladar has a grand plan—but it's there.

Fandom notes: I don’t have strong feelings about seeker trine fanon, empurata outside of IDW1 (where I like the angst/whump of it) or Soundwave’s exact relationship to his casssettes. Follow your spark.

I am 100% okay with continuity soup for G1, and I like both canon Shattered Glass universes but also tend to like continuity soup Shattered-Glass-As-Generic-Mirrorverse.

However, for the ships where I specified IDW Optimus and SG IDW Shockwave, I do strongly want IDW—their histories there are a big part of why I want those characters to interact!

- The SG Autobots are terrifying, so I’d be very into the SG Decepticons being terrified of the nice Autobots when they meet them!
- I love the id factor of having to rescue the sweet mirrorverse good guy versions of your enemies from the horrifying mirrorverse versions of your friends.
- Also the idea of having to impersonate your evil self (with advice from your not-evil not-enemy kinda-prisoner, who has a much better idea of how your evil self acts)!
- I'm up for super tropey over the top scenarios—fell into the AU, got mistaken for your evil self and received their war prize? Find out that your friends are evil here because you see them torturing your enemy and now you have to save them? That kind of thing.
- It's really fun when Decepticons are scared of the medics to me, and that'd make extra sense if they're really scared of First Aid/Ratchet's evil counterpart.
- I'd be into as much whump as you like here as long as it's followed by rescue and/or h/c!

- Okay, how would the whole “reprogrammed to be loyal to G1 Megatron” thing work with encountering an AU version of Megatron?
- I'm super into the slave coding mind control trope, both as whump with an evil "master" and as a justification for slavefic h/c tropes with a good guy in charge.
- I’m certain SG Megatron would be horrified by this situation… and wouldn’t that be surreal for the Combaticons?
- (And I am also amused by the idea of the professional soldier Combaticons meeting the Fun Pub SG Decepticons & realizing that this is a resistance movement run by academics. How are they not dead! … Wait, why do they object to the idea of them dying?)

Prompts, IDW1 Optimus + IDWSG Shockwave
- So both IDWSG and IDW Shockwave suffered empurata and shadowplay, but the shadowplay had opposite effects—SG Shockwave is still nice, just even more emotional. Knowing what he could’ve become if it had worked as intended would be traumatic! Horrifying! (… Boggling, given the claim to logic and then the black hole thing!)
- For Optimus: this is the friend and mentor he couldn’t save, who faced a horrible fate for trying to work within a broken system and who then turned into a terrifying enemy. And here he is, having suffered something similar but come through it far more like the person he used to like/admire/love…
- And meanwhile from Shockwave’s point of view: this is the ex-friend who betrayed him and did that to him! The enemy he’s been fighting against ever since! (And sure this Optimus has his flaws but he’d be horrified at his SG self.)
- And both of them could expect the worst from a version of their enemy/friend who has good reason to hate them.

- She hates her god, he hates gods in general, and yet she is the avatar of her god and he becomes a god's champion. I want them to meet, commiserate over being way too close to the divine for any sensible Kencyr or hradani, bond, and then slay demons (either world's definition) and/or Dark Gods (his, probably) together!
- Your choice as to who ends up in whose world and where (Jame in Norfressa, Bahzell in the Riverland or Tai-Tastigon), and who else, if anyone, gets dragged in (Brandark? Kindrie?)
- Kencyr berserker flares vs. the Rage? (I do wonder if hradani would fail to take flares seriously given that they're plainly not Rage.... potentially a mistake.)

Jazz and Ino: This is the new prompt. I just really think these two could hit it off, and also that they have pretty compatible skillsets (while also having fairly different skills on account of being a giant robot and a human kinda-telepath, so they wouldn't be redundant to each other in a teamup). They're both vivacious fun-loving types who like people a lot, have a pleasantly unthreatening side gig/hobby (music, flowers) and are in similarly shady lines of work (and I figure spying is at least part of Ino's job when there's not a ninja war keeping her busy). I just think they'd be fun together! And have fun together. As to how it happens—portal fantasy via jutsu accident? Transformers posing as the first cars in the ninja world? (I confess that I haven't actually seen or read Boruto, though.)

In a lot of ways she’s currently where the Cybertronian characters were back when the war was starting—last of her family/clan, joining a side in the hope of vengeance and survival. And they get that, but they also see her heading down a path that led them into endless war that they’re not really all that positive about (plus the whole squishy human thing).
- Carly’s Iron Apprenticeship with Arcee is a great chance to learn about robot family structures! (What do they mean by brother/sister anyway?)
- Arcee has been where Carly is now before—consumed by vengeance, starting out a new iron apprenticeship with a powerful mentor—and now she's no longer that person, but she's got this younger alien version of herself staring at her. It's a fun thorny situation for them both!
- Carly and her super traumatized robot grandpa Ultra Magnus! I would like to see more of that relationship.
- Carly and Cliffjumper’s messy friendship (her anger at him for not taking the vengeance both of them wanted earlier, her sacrificing the van that’s everything left of her old life to save him) is fantastic. They haven’t actually had a conversation since the whole refusing to kill Starscream thing! They should get to talk.
- And then Cliffjumper made a whole new person from Carly’s van (which she lovingly painted, treated as everything remaining of her old life and old self, and then sacrificed to save him) and the souls of his dead family. And sent that new person through a portal to an unfamiliar planet specifically to help Carly. So this is a huge surprise to Carly, but Shredhead has had their whole very short life to form expectations about her...
- Maybe Carly could van paint Shredhead? She said she wasn’t completely satisfied with what she’d done with her van before that van became a person…

There is interesting stuff there about identity and hive minds so forth but also, just, they’re so childish! I love them, they’re ridiculous.
- Platonic bickering, robotic hatesex that is deeply inconvenient for everyone including their components, Megs trying to get them to work together by fiat, etc. (If you go for the hatesex consider my usual PWP DNW waived.)
- Also: worldbuilding! What does it mean when robots call each other brother? Does it mean something different to the ones who combine with their "brothers" to form a bigger, pettier robot? And what does personal identity mean when you're made of a bunch of other guys who don't necessarily agree with you about things, or when you can combine with your brothers to become someone else (who will then spend their time bickering with a combination of people you don't much mind, on their own)?

-I could go for canon divergence/fixit where Wol-ah figures things out earlier or lives longer and they do get to date outside the palace, or something bittersweet about their missed opportunities.
-Or emperor or retired emperor Jeok-yeon encountering Wol-ah's reincarnation, who seems to be a very happy lesbian warrior type. (Feel free to handwave emperor Jeok-yeon's canon relationship with Doha for that one.)

Prompts for Biseol/Jeok-yeon:
- Loyalty kink! Biseol is the only person (well, except her mentor who lives up the mystic mentor mountain) who knows Jeok-yeon's secret; she's the only one who knows his. Most princes swap out their aides pretty regularly but these two have been together for centuries and know each other so well. I love how protective they are of each other and I'd love to see more of that, basically.
-Wound tending (either way: Jeok-yeon trusts no one else to touch her, and if Biseol was hurt defending her of course she'd be the one to help him).
- Just—they've been together so long, even by the standards of the setting, and they know each other so well. A moment of closeness in their daily lives would be neat.
- Or: traveling the world and running into demon problems that remind them both of how they met.

Prompts for Wol-ah/Bun Seller:
- I just really love that Wol-ah, who was trapped in her role as a priestess, gets to be free and brave and a warrior hero in this life. (And get an implied female love interest!) She’s a lot like Jeok-yeon, who she can’t remember—but she can be herself openly in Jeok-yeon’s reign, instead of hiding herself.
- Also it just seemed like a really cute meet-cute.
- Does new Wol-ah teach the bun seller to fight? Do they have adventures together?
- Is the red-eyed woman anyone we knew in a past life? She has red eyes, reincarnations in this series keep their old appearance, and the only other red-eyed character beside Jeok-yeon that I remember is Jeok-yeon's dead baby sister... Feel free to go with the potential weirdness of that reincarnation flirtation/romance if you want.

- The extreme power differential is super iddy.
- And so is Michael and Syl becoming close when there's this huge pressure on the homunculi to only see each other as rivals.
- I like the potential loyalty kink layers of Michael being Eve's loyal knight, Syl knowing Michael is the homunculus king (and in my heart being loyal to/in love with both of them).
- There are some interesting implications that in the original timeline Michael didn't actually care about his fellow homunculi (too focused on Eve), but this time around he does because he got close to Syl—I think that's a fun dynamic!
- The contrast between Michael being automatically intensely loyal to Eve and Syl only being compelled to serve Rosie
- AU where the princes and princesses can steal each other's knights by capturing them, or bet their knights on contests? (Mostly thinking of Eve getting Syl this way.)
- Or: Eve becomes crown princess and is allowed to have a harem of knights—being Eve she would be nobly reluctant, but maybe it's required, or the only way to keep Syl safe...
- Tangent: I really enjoy the evil emperor being all ""I am so proud of my baby growing up and getting a sex slave finally"".
- I am very into the angst of Syl having been raped by Eve's sister (and Michael too in the original timeline, though it takes him a while to remember). Michael knows not to expect the same from Eve by then, but maybe Syl doesn't...
- Rosie discards Syl (after traumatizing him) and Eve takes him on—maybe at Michael's request?
