I absolutely LOVED their dynamic in the movie and I was so gutted by the way that it all played out. I would really just love to see anything with the two of them having that fun and easy sort of back and forth that they had. I would love a fix-it fic, or something that is fix-it and post-canon. Essentially, I would love to see them having their version of a happily ever after haha.
I don't think I've ever seen any art for this movie (or fic for that matter lol) so I figured it wouldn't hurt to check both just in case someone was feeling more inspired for one over the other!

I loved Roxy as a character and I wish that she would've gotten more time in the spotlight. I think that the dynamic between her and Harry could've been really interesting even though we never got a good glimpse of it. They're both just so focused and wanting to do good work. They're a little more similar in background than her and Eggsy, plus there is the whole background thing of Harry knowing Percival and all of that. I just would really love to see their dynamic explored in a way that we never got in the movies.
Kingsman TSS, and even the start of TGC gave such a good and fun picture of the friendship between Eggsy and Roxy. Anything involving more of that would be more than welcome. I adore Eggsy and they were such a fun pair with the way that they would always go to bat for each other.
I love the canon universe, but I'm totally open to AU's for them as well!
Putting Tequila and Roxy in the same room together I feel like has the potential to be hysterical but also so interesting. Whether or not you keep it in a more canon-like universe is completely up to you. If you get hit with an AU idea for these two, I'm totally ready and willing to tune into that as well. I just think it would be so interesting to see him pining after her, trying to win her over, and Roxy not taking him seriously or playing hard to get or something.
An AU where Conrad and Eggsy exist at the same point in time has such heartbreaking potential. I feel like the two of them could have some really good talks about things. I'm just curious as to how these two characters would play off of each other.

I feel like with all of the things that were happening in the canon universe, a lot of relationships never got fully explored. And then there were others that went in directions that I wish that they didn't. Giving any of these characters and dynamics the happiness they deserve is what it's all about.

I feel like these two dynamics could sort of feed into each other if you wanted them to. But even as standalone duos I think that either of these pairings would be so interesting to delve into and see!
Despite the fact that Erin and Nestor had no scenes together, I feel like their dynamic would've been so good. Polar opposites attract. I think that it was just a missed opportunity. Plus, I think that there was the unexplored option of the two of them having some kind of history (platonic or romantic) because Emily and Miguel had been together and known each other for so long. It's totally possible that Erin and Nestor crossed paths in the past. Maybe things happened, maybe they didn't. Who knows! I would just love to see these two together. Nestor is so serious and grumpy while Erin is so chaotic and fun.
For Erin and Miguel, I do like that she doesn't hold back when she talks to him. She rags on him and jokes around with him, not really caring about who he is or what he does. And I also like that Miguel just sort of takes it from her. I always sort of liked that and found it interesting. Pretty much all the scenes we had of these two together were when Emily was also around. I think we only got one of the two of them alone, but I think it would be cool to see more of their dynamic play out not in front of an audience to see how much they would or wouldn't change the way that they talk to each other.

I have an entirely inappropriate crush on Sulla because of these books, and I shipped Sulla/Metrobius long before I discovered the existence of fanfic. I love that their relationship spans so many decades, and what starts as pure lust turns into something genuine. Metrobius is Sulla’s touchstone in many respects, his link to his former self, which is somehow far more open and truthful than his patrician persona.

Some prompts:

+ A Five Times fic through the ages, giving Metrobius’s POV from that first meeting with Sulla through to Sulla on his deathbed (*Underage sex is a DNW and in the canon, Metrobius is most definitely underage when they meet. Implied sex in the same vein as canon is fine but I’d prefer anything more graphic to take place when Metrobius is older).

+ Sulla thinks he knows everything about Rome’s underworld. Metrobius takes him out incognito one night and shows him what it’s really like.

+ I would love a fic set in the Roman theatre, either from the POV of Sulla watching Metrobius perform or from Metrobius’s perspective as an actor on stage. Plutarch calls Metrobius a ‘female impersonator’, so you could go with him playing the archetypal virtuous maiden, or, as McCullough does, have Metrobius transition from playing female roles to the lead male such as the Swaggering Soldier. The first time he steps on stage as a male character could make for a really interesting piece.

Marcus is a good match for her (though he starts off as a bit of a knob, but hey, ancient Roman man) – hot, clever, patrician - and I wish the series hadn't ended on such a downer for them as a pair.

+ Claudia and Marcus get together at last, either in a one-off night that doesn’t solve anything, or a fic set in the future when Claudia is an old woman reminiscing to a scandalised listener about how Marcus finally won her over.

+ Case fic! Someone kidnaps Claudia’s beloved cat and she enlists Marcus’s help to rescue Drusilla. Or Marcus witnesses something he shouldn’t and needs Claudia’s assistance. Or perhaps someone claims they know of Claudia’s seedy past and tries to blackmail her, and that someone has connections within Augustus’s government, so she needs Marcus’s patrician influence as well as her own wits to neutralise the threat.

+ Marcus’s patrician family are celebrating a festival or private event. Claudia turns up to supply the wine and an already-inebriated family member thinks she’s Marcus’s new girlfriend and insists on introducing her to everyone. Claudia decides to play along to wind Marcus up, but the event takes an unexpected turn.

Or perhaps when he's injured or ill and Dee is caring for him, he realizes that she's in love with him? How would the fact their world is slowly ending affect any such romance?

Maybe instead of Molly, Fitz gets together with her after Fool's Fate? Or during his years as a hermit? You don't have to think about how this would affect the rest of the story at all, if you don't particularly want to, handwaiving is just fine in this case. You could go with either a sharing of physical comfort between friends or full blown romance or anything in between. For this pairing I'd prefer no unresolved pining though, they both are unlucky enough in love in canon.
For Fitz/The Fool & Nighteyes, I do actually like the canon ending for this ship, at least they are together finally and forever. So I’d love a post canon fic about the adventures of the Wolf of the West, or something more experimental perhaps, about how they function as three individuals who are one being? Do they still have conversations, or arguments or any need for words at all? If that sort of thing doesn’t interest you, something set during canon would be very nice as well. Or if you want, do go AU and give them a different end, one where they get to raise Bee perhaps?

I love Royal Abbott, I just find him very compelling, and I'm hoping someone who sees this does too, or gives Outer Range a try and comes to see what I see in him too. I love how quiet he is except when he's pushed past his limits, I love not knowing what things are secrets he's keeping and what things are secrets even he doesn't know about himself, I love all the uncertainty and the vastness and the way he's just trying to be in the face of all that. I love that he is both the outsider and the core. I love the intensity of his interactions with everybody and everything and the way he seems to need to keep his own counsel because of how intense it all is. Or maybe it's because of how perplexing it all is. (And I love a character who's in charge but not, competent but lost.) I'd like to think there are both biographical and intrinsic reasons for him to be the way he is. I like him best out on the ranch by himself--or if at home or in the town still somehow by himself, even when he's trying to be part of people and sometimes even succeeding at it.

I think this is relevant for this moment in Royal and Cecilia's marriage, the way separately and together, they're trying to understand (or even just process) and respond to all the difficult, testing, and insane things that are happening to/around them. They're close but apart, a unit but individuals, intimate but full of secrets or simply moments and interior evolutions they have to face on their own. They try to connect and to continue to be there for each other, even while they've each got their own spheres and beliefs and trials, anguishes and despairs (and mysterious animal encounters). I'm also interested in Royal and that buffalo and mysterious encounters in general with nature, the land, and time.

I love how in the show, everything is simultaneously beautiful and bewildering, big and intimate, contained and out of control, and the whole thing is about the tension between throwing yourself to that and trying to make some kind of order. I liked how it told a complete story while leaving many things up in the air, and if you'd like to fill in details or continue the story or delve into what you think happened or just show Royal apart from the moment the show finds him in, I think there's a lot of richness to explore.

"The Military"/Tormada (See 2019)

I'll admit it, I really want to see these characters together for aesthetic and fannish history reasons. I find both characters compelling in their own right, though. I'd love to see The Military's commanding statesman/conservative general and Tormada's confident, fearless, ruthless, lyrical, bomb-stroking scientist interact. And now with season three, there's a lot more to Tormada, and they have had their one-and-only explosive meeting, which was delicious. I loved the confrontational chemistry, Tormada's certainty and The Military's turn to anger.

I think it'd be possible to engineer some kind of scenario, whether missing scene or AU, to bring them together some more (for whatever definition of together, shippy or not, porny or not, dark or not as dark, antagonistic or not exactly). Maybe encounters in the military context (whether before or during canon and Tormada's rogue conspiracy), or maybe a secret backstory, canon divergence in which The Military is the one involved in the coup, or even some sort of very canon-divergent survival happens (I could see an interesting prisoner scenario)?

I'm perfectly happy for lots of handwaving to happen to make this possible. I just want to indulge in the interaction, whatever direction you take with it!

When the putting-himself-on-the-line is needed, Nick gets down to it and does it, even when he's tired and scared and it's dangerous: it made me think of John. They have some similar experiences, similar responsibilities and supports in their teams. Nick is younger/earlier in his career (the timelines don't 100% work out, but I'm happy for that to be handwaved/AUed or treated as a relevant factor) and from a different country, so their experiences are just different enough that the contrast would be interesting too. I'd like to see them bonding over these things or maybe facing something in the line of duty together. It would be interesting to see what they'd make of each other if they were AUed to be the same age, or to see something of an age-and-experience difference relationship if you keep to their canonical timelines.

I could see either in the other's canon, or something that fuses the two. Maybe it's John Earthside before/after/(during) or even instead of Atlantis? Maybe Nick joins Atlantis as a munitions/bomb disposal expert (whether the Stargate Program is still a secret or has been disclosed)?

I find the chemistry between them, which possibly plays on that, electric. There are so many high-tension scenes between them, fighting it out whether explicitly or seething underneath. I think it was the scene in which Bosworth watches MacMillan pay to go to town on the "smash a car" that really cinched it for me. It's just very charged, and oppositional, and barely-controlled-ly physical, and I can see how Joe is searching for something and pushes up against John Bosworth, who feels the danger and is trying to handle it, and it's this tight wire, and that's what I'm looking for here!
