I think I'm in a fandom of 1 for this series nowadays. Unfortunately, I came to this late, so all my feels have nowhere to go. I love the world-building and the darkness of the series. I love, especially, how Boyd and Hsin's relationship struggles and matures to reach a place of trust and understanding and devotion that is so earned.
I'm especially here for the over-the-top angst of the story and the ever-present awareness that the characters exist in an organization that might kill them at any moment.
What I'd like to see: There's so much to explore! "Missing scene" stuff or what ifs, post-canon stuff, straight-up smut. I'm happy to accept just about anything for these two.
My ideal would be something post-canon where they're happy and loving each other. With or without smut. I know they're on the run, but they can still have happiness. Boyd's my fav, so I would particularly like something with Hsin doting on him.

I started reading this series without realizing it would get gay. Best surprise ever.
One thing I always felt was lacking was much exploration of any trauma as a result of Alec being kidnapped and mind-raped in Stalking Darkness. Poor guy went through something brutal, but then Seregil's angst with Nysander kinda overshadowed things.
So it'd be nice to get a fic that addressed Alec's experience there. You could keep it canon-compliant.
If you're comfortable being completely iddy, I love "forced to confess feelings" scenarios. I think either Seregil or Alec could be forced to confess their feelings by the baddies. Then end with hurt/comfort and such. I'm okay with going as dark as you want to on that. Just a straight up, holding a sword to the throat to force a confession...yay! Non-conning one of the boys to taunt the other one? Also yay!
If neither of these are appealing, then your choice! I'd really just be happy with anything new for these two!

I have a thing for pairings where one half has been in an abusive situation and brings that mentality to a new relationship. It hits my id, especially as their new partner realizes where it all came from.
That's one of the things I love about this ship. Jainan gradually unlearns a lot of the "rules" he'd had to live with while with Taam, because Kiem just keeps being sweet and nice. And I adore Jainan and want people to be sweet and nice to him.
As far as prompts, something post-canon, maybe where Kiem and Jainan talk about Jainan's marriage to Taam.

Fitz/Kettricken The last trilogy seems to hint that maybe Kettricken would have liked there to be something more between them, and Fitz does admire her, even if he is his usual blind self about these things. (And Nighteyes really likes her!) So maybe an AU where something happens and poor Kettricken doesn't have to live without love (and sex) for most of her life. Maybe instead of Molly, Fitz gets together with her after Fool's Fate? Or during his years as a hermit? You don't have to think about how this would affect the rest of the story at all, if you don't particularly want to, handwaiving is just fine in this case. You could go with either a sharing of physical comfort between friends or full blown romance or anything in between. For this pairing I'd prefer no unresolved pining though, they both are unlucky enough in love in canon.
For Fitz/The Fool & Nighteyes, I do actually like the canon ending for this ship, at least they are together finally and forever. So I’d love a post canon fic about the adventures of the Wolf of the West, or something more experimental perhaps, about how they function as three individuals who are one being? Do they still have conversations, or arguments or any need for words at all? If that sort of thing doesn’t interest you, something set during canon would be very nice as well. Or if you want, do go AU and give them a different end, one where they get to raise Bee perhaps?

So, I went into Dreamboy post cancellation: knowing that I was going to love it, and that it was already gone. And I found the experience to still be completely and utterly worthwhile. I don't think I will ever find another podcast with such fabulous narration, eerie magic realism, and so damn gorgeously (hilariously!) scored.
But all the same-- man! All those loose ends. What's in the deed to the zoo? What happens now that all the lights in pepper heights have been replaced? Why is Cora's basement pregnant? Will Luke ever get his backpack away from the Schmalenbergers?
As for Dane and Luke . . . I *really* don't want the last Dreamboy encounter to be the end of their story. I'd love to see what happens to them now that they don't have a couple of horny fish urging them to hook up (or . . . don't they . . . ? Maybe the fish want dates? Who's to say??) Follow Dane back to NY - have Luke visit him or move in. Transcribe me one of Luke's Instagram lives (if he does those. If IG lets them stay up.) Write me a song about them! Anything goes, I just want more.

This is such a lovely, dreamy piece, with so much feeling and romance in its orchestration -- but that's not what makes it shine for me. A female singer (who may or may not consider themselves one of "our proud fellas," the phrasing is certainly ambiguous) who sounds so deeply in love with the sweet maid? Yes, please. I just want something soft and lovely for these two. Expand on the song, tell me how they fell in love, or tell me what happens next. Worldbuild as much as you like. I am absolutely down for a trans, butch, or femme read of the main character/singer, whatever feels best to you. However, I *am* keeping my restriction on homophobia, period-typical or not. I am happy to see Rich Owen as a rival, but not for that reason!
I've also nominated the hens from the song, with the thought that this could be a puss-in-boots kind of story. Something about that phrasing "I have by me" just makes me think of them as magical guides! Though I suppose they could just be a sympathetic avian ear.

My word, this adaptation. I love it so much - the speed of its pacing, the wild energy, the absolutely glorious dialogue, all the changes to the story that empower Roxane in ways I always wished the original would. (I'm not requesting Roxane/de Guiche, but I deeply appreciate that this play neither wholly reforms him, nor shames Roxane for associating with him anyway, on her terms and to keep her independence in every way possible.) And then there's the fact that they make Cyrano/Christian explicitly, physically textual - another rewrite I've always wanted, but a tragedy all the same.
So I am unabashedly asking: if you're up for it, fix that part too. I understand why the play still needs to end in sadness, but oh it left me burning for a true fix-it. My kingdom for anyone to write me a different ending to that kiss. If that feels like a lot to take on - fair! I will also accept an out of context moment for these three AFTER the fix, or a moment during the courtship when everything felt right - where without knowing it, these three *were* in balance.
I am lifting my standard DNW re: focus on homophobia, because it is so clearly a part of Christian's worldview. I'll also add that by DNW-ing self-harm, I'm talking about immediate physical hurt-- Christian and Cyrano both clearly put themselves in dangerous situations because they think they deserve it, and I'm down for that, though I'd prefer this be a starting point and not an end.

I love Royal Abbott, I just find him very compelling, and I'm hoping someone who sees this does too, or gives Outer Range a try and comes to see what I see in him too. I love how quiet he is except when he's pushed past his limits, I love not knowing what things are secrets he's keeping and what things are secrets even he doesn't know about himself, I love all the uncertainty and the vastness and the way he's just trying to be in the face of all that. I love that he is both the outsider and the core. I love the intensity of his interactions with everybody and everything and the way he seems to need to keep his own counsel because of how intense it all is. Or maybe it's because of how perplexing it all is. (And I love a character who's in charge but not, competent but lost.) I'd like to think there are both biographical and intrinsic reasons for him to be the way he is. I like him best out on the ranch by himself--or if at home or in the town still somehow by himself, even when he's trying to be part of people and sometimes even succeeding at it.

I think this is relevant for this moment in Royal and Cecilia's marriage, the way separately and together, they're trying to understand (or even just process) and respond to all the difficult, testing, and insane things that are happening to/around them. They're close but apart, a unit but individuals, intimate but full of secrets or simply moments and interior evolutions they have to face on their own. They try to connect and to continue to be there for each other, even while they've each got their own spheres and beliefs and trials, anguishes and despairs (and mysterious animal encounters). I'm also interested in Royal and that buffalo and mysterious encounters in general with nature, the land, and time.

I love how in the show, everything is simultaneously beautiful and bewildering, big and intimate, contained and out of control, and the whole thing is about the tension between throwing yourself to that and trying to make some kind of order. I liked how it told a complete story while leaving many things up in the air, and if you'd like to fill in details or continue the story or delve into what you think happened or just show Royal apart from the moment the show finds him in, I think there's a lot of richness to explore.

I'll admit it, I really want to see these characters together for aesthetic and fannish history reasons. I find both characters compelling in their own right, though. I'd love to see The Military's commanding statesman/conservative general and Tormada's confident, fearless, ruthless, lyrical, bomb-stroking scientist interact. And now with season three, there's a lot more to Tormada, and they have had their one-and-only explosive meeting, which was delicious. I loved the confrontational chemistry, Tormada's certainty and The Military's turn to anger.

I think it'd be possible to engineer some kind of scenario, whether missing scene or AU, to bring them together some more (for whatever definition of together, shippy or not, porny or not, dark or not as dark, antagonistic or not exactly). Maybe encounters in the military context (whether before or during canon and Tormada's rogue conspiracy), or maybe a secret backstory, canon divergence in which The Military is the one involved in the coup, or even some sort of very canon-divergent survival happens (I could see an interesting prisoner scenario)?

I'm perfectly happy for lots of handwaving to happen to make this possible. I just want to indulge in the interaction, whatever direction you take with it!

When the putting-himself-on-the-line is needed, Nick gets down to it and does it, even when he's tired and scared and it's dangerous: it made me think of John. They have some similar experiences, similar responsibilities and supports in their teams. Nick is younger/earlier in his career (the timelines don't 100% work out, but I'm happy for that to be handwaved/AUed or treated as a relevant factor) and from a different country, so their experiences are just different enough that the contrast would be interesting too. I'd like to see them bonding over these things or maybe facing something in the line of duty together. It would be interesting to see what they'd make of each other if they were AUed to be the same age, or to see something of an age-and-experience difference relationship if you keep to their canonical timelines.

I think it was the scene in which Bosworth watches MacMillan pay to go to town on the "smash a car" that really cinched it for me.
