Nominations Closed

Nominations are now closed for the 2024/2025 tagset! The tagset will be finalized over the next few days as the final round of nominations get approved, wandering tags get corralled, errors get fixed, etc. Stay tuned for at least one more post about nomination questions and notes, just in case there are questions about your nominated tags.

Nomination Queries and Notes #2

The tagset is in the process of getting cleaned up, so I'll be fixing errors, duplicates, and wandering tags over the next few days. In the meantime, I have some questions for nominators!

1. Crossover Nominations

We have quite a few crossover nominations where there's no disambiguation for which canons the characters belong to. A lot of them are from canons with multiple adaptations/versions, so I need the nominators to clarify. (For example, is Alex Rider from the books, the TV show, or All Media Types?)

I've had to reject these relationships for right now, but if you can clarify here which fandoms go with which characters, I can add them to the tagset.

2. Anton Ball | Dynamite Anton & Peppino Spaghetti
Anton Ball | Dynamite Anton/Peppino Spaghetti

The first of these is nominated under ANTONBLAST (Video Game); the second under Pizza Tower (Video Game). Can a nominator confirm if these characters ever appear in the same game? I can find a promotional comic with both, but I couldn’t verify that they were actually in each other’s games. Absent any confirmation, I’ll approve these both under Crossover Fandom.

3. Wiedźmin | The Witcher - All Media Types

This is already in the tagset as a book series, video game, and TV show. Can the nominator(s) confirm what canons they want the following nominations approved under?

The Hobbit - All Media Types
Les Misérables - All Media Types
The Lord of the Rings - All Media Types
A Room With a View - All Media Types

Some of these vary significantly by media type/adaptation, so it might be preferable to split them up. If you nominated any of these and actually want a particular version of the canon, please comment here. I can edit the tagset to add in your preferred version if it's not there already.
