For Ma Seong-jun and Son Ik-su, I'm intrigued by the weird power dynamic between them. Ma Seong-jun is basically holding Son Ik-su back with the strength of bravado but is terrified by him; Son Ik-su speaks scornfully of Ma Seong-jun but also says to watch him and puts a lot of faith in his abilities. And they spend a lot of time in each other's company. It's a dynamic wide open for manipulation, dub-con, blackmail, threats, violence, kidnapping, all kinds of bad stuff, and I'd love to see any of that. At the same time, I think Ma Seong-jun is catnip to people with daddy issues (see: Yoon-hee looking to him for protection, Chung Dam looking for approval--both things they lacked from their fathers) and Son Ik-su has a TON of daddy issues. If he could key into that and poke Son Ik-su just the right way without making him explode (or, idk, making him explode the right way) then he could probably have a pet gangster on a leash lols. But I'm not sure he would ever figure that out.
For art, I love the shaman get-up and makeup Ma Seong-jun wears. Alternatively, any art of Son Ik-su (sexily) menacing Ma Seong-jun would be great.

I've watched this movie twice in the past year, and it is quite good! My favorite character is predictably Lee Joong-gu (yes, I just love Park Sung-woong) and I'm pretty much up for shipping him with anyone. Feel free to include multiple of these, even, if you want to; I just want to see Lee Joong-gu involved in some shippy business.
As a side note: dub-con and non-con are fine for any of these ships, going in either direction. As is general toxic behavior! These are simply not nice people lol.

For Jung Chung/Lee Joong-gu: It's all about the rivalry! The love-hate and the banter and the almost hitting each other with a car! Also, these two don't trust each other and yet Lee Joong-gu still appears to feel really betrayed when he thinks Jung Chung would actually turn him in to the police.

For Lee Joong-gu/Lee Ja-sung: These two honestly don't interact much in canon. But I'm a strong believer in my fave/the main character ships and this is one of those. Joong-gu originally sees Ja-sung as just Jung Chung's underling, but by the end he's able to guess that Ja-sung is the one sending men to kill him and the one who will win the board election (he doesn't for a minute imagine it will be Jang Su-ki, for example) and even congratulates him from a distance.

For Lee Joong-gu/Kang Hyung-chul: I just think there was mad sexual tension here. The fuckign glares and smiles they throw at each other. The insults and banter. The implication that they've gone through this song and dance of Kang trying to get dirt on Joong-gu over and over again. The way Kang absolutely plays Joong-gu with those photographs. There's a lot going on.

And then Yandros, the capricious, shapeshifting lead god of Chaos shows up and is like, oh, I know why, and I'm going to reveal to you as dramatically as possible that you're my twin brother and we have this whole master plan going to defeat Order and rule once more. Also, they have five other brothers, but it's so damn clear who Yandros's favorite is and part of the joy of this series is just watching Yandros becoming increasingly frustrated over the fact that his brother keeps rejecting him because he doesn't remember him and maybe it wasn't the best plan to put your brother's “soul gem” into a ring, dude.

I really love these two together – the tension between them from Tom leaving and then returning, the differences in their standings, and of course, the utter hilarity that in the original, one of them's the killer, and in the remake, the other one is. They had a lot of chemistry in the film and it's just a shame that a little something like serial killing and an amputated arm resulted in their separation. So I'd love something where the two of them get some more time together – maybe Axel plays the long game and gets Tom (T.J.) to be his “bloody valentine” or maybe Axel survives the events of the film and comes back for him.

Only he's not leaving empty-handed.

Axel decides that he wants to rope Tom into the whole “murderous serial killer” side hustle after he comes back to town, but he's got to do it slowly – after all, he just can't expect Tom to pick up an axe and start swinging without a little practice first (and maybe some minor mind fuckery).

I must confess, while I always thought Lamont and Margo were very charming together, I was really intrigued by Shiwan Khan and his desire to completely get Lamont back over to the dark side. For a villain, he is so much fun – I mean, he hypnotizes Lamont's love interest so he'll kill her and it'll turn him evil, which is a pretty neat plan to get rid of the competition and get his crush's attention. And while the ending implies that he's powerless and Lamont's fully won, I can't help but wonder if that's really true, considering all the tricks they played on each other...

This time, Khan assures him, he'll have far more competent minions this go-around.

Maybe Khan decides that as much as dramatic statements do set a nice tone, it might be far better for him to keep a low profile once he hits New York, especially when he realizes that convincing Lamont to become a warlord again isn't going to be an easy feat. Subtlety, after all, might be the key to swaying him, and when you bring in the ability to manipulate minds, be it sleeping or waking...

I loved this when it came out and the weird relationship Harry and Jamie had, the cat and mouse thing where you're not really sure who is who and also one of them is trying to turn the other one into them so it's like two cats, one of whom really wants the other one to be into the whole dead mouse thing? I don't know, the analogy kind of got away, but what did stick with me was that whole burying Harry alive and then digging him out and Jamie looks at Harry in rapture while Harry's tripping out on not dying and fuck, that show had me right there. I could have watched hours devoted to just the aftermath of that. And then – like, don't get me wrong, I was definitely bummed when Jamie died (and so was he), but he kind of won in the end because he really did get inside Harry (and if networks weren't cowards, it wouldn't have just been mind fuckery).

Maybe they meet a different way. Maybe Jamie totally gets away with Nick's death and meets Harry later on. There's a connection and Jamie sees a chance to get what he lost back with Harry and Harry, for his part, can't figure out what this seemingly normal, stable family man is doing hanging out with him or why The Vanishing is suddenly becoming a very relevant movie.

Or you could go supernatural - vampires are always a plus and there is that whole getting buried thing that might suddenly take on some new meaning, but you know, werewolves are pretty fun too and they got a whole nice forest to run around in. I just think giving Harry a whole new set of problems he cannot remotely deal with would be a delight.

(And oh look, I was correct that Season 2 was going to dash my iddy hopes of captive!Junho,..)

So now that Inho seems to be super into getting Gihun to do something—break down completely? Realize the futility of fighting the system? Become the new Frontman and get a snazzy mask?--I'd love to see more of him just fucking with Gihun. Maybe he stages it so they're both prisoners and he miraculously survived, but oh no, he has a guard “force” them to fuck each other. Or maybe he uses his Front Man guise to just utterly destroy him some more before he releases him (in more ways than one).

Vampires. You win the game, you become a vampire, in a totally not obvious metaphor for capitalism, and everyone would appreciate the metaphor more if if wasn't for the immense blood loss.

I loved this show so much and I'm not ashamed to admit it. I think it boils down to really liking the relationship Taeoh had with Joongmo, despite it not taking up as much of the show as I would have loved. I mean, there's so many time skips that gloss over how they get this very close, almost paternal connection where by the end, Taoeh is the only one Joongmo trusts to take over his business and yet the show only gives us bits of it. So I'd love more of them working together, of Joongmo mentoring Taoeh as he rises up the ladder of the company, and of course, Joongmo's amazing shirts because they were the most amazing part of this series, hands down.

Seriously, what the hell happened in all those scenes we didn't see? How did Joongmo come to rely on Taeoh as his right-hand man and did Taeoh have more than one crisis over his conflicting loyalties? And then later on, when it jumps to the final scene and Taoeh and Joongmo are on the roof together, surveying their grand achievement, how did that all come about? There's just so much fertile ground to cover between the two of them and their schemes, both when they were secretly working at odds with each other and when Taeoh finally joined forces.

This show is also very ripe for some nice hurt/comfort. I have so many thoughts about those missing moments in between when Joongmo springs Taeoh from prison and when he winds up in his private rooms – what were his thoughts on rescuing someone who he may have still have had doubts about his innocence in his son's murder. Or flip-side, I'd love something set during any one of Joongmo's collapses – the time Taeoh was the one that saved him when his wife abandoned him? Or maybe a divergence where Taeoh is the one to find him in the bathtub after Inha tries to kill him?

Okay, I did not know what to expect when I started watching this show and I'm still not entirely sure what I watched, but wow, if you love some twisted sci-fi with real implications of body horror, this show is right there, saying, hey, I've got a lot of needles for you. Like I was already sold on shipping Jayu, the brilliant CEO of a company developing artificial “meat”, with her bodyguard, Chaewoon, a hardened solider with a dark past and a very adorable cat, but then shit hit the fan, people got shot, and this show just went off the rails. By the time I got to the end and the inevitable cliffhanger (that better get resolved), I was just so sold on their relationship, the sci-fi horror elements, and the overall aesthetic that just made this show so gorgeous.

So it's pretty much implied at the end that both Chaewoon and Jayu are alive – Chaewoon is definitely more confirmed than Jayu – and I'd love to read something where the two of them are reunited. He was just so committed to her by the end and Jayu was equally devoted in return and all I want is the two of them to be together and reasonably happy (I mean, there's still nefarious conspiracies at work and they're both likely modified superhuman beings of some sort, but you know, they finally started being honest with each other).

Or maybe something where one of them has to rescue the other one – I'm not picky about who saves whom and if they take turns, that's fun too! It's just fun imagining Chaewoon just breaking down doors to go save Jayu from some new sinister agency/person wanting to use her work, or thinking of Jayu coldly and calmly reclaiming her bodyguard from anyone who dares steal him from her.
