- How does a human go about talking with a spirit not bound to her? Does Artemisia have to let another revenant possess her—what does her revenant think of that? Or does someone else volunteer, or does she have to go through an existing, traditional vespertine?
- Okay, Artemisia becoming the next fantasy pope would be self-indulgent but also cool. And in that situation she would DEFINITELY have the power to change the way the other revenants are treated.
- Does the revenant actually know where all the other revenants are? Maybe it's wrong about e.g. Cahethal having committed suicide—maybe it escaped with its vessel instead.
- The other revenants would presumably be pretty annoyed with the main one for its part in setting up their current situation.
- I really love the relationship Artemisia and her revenant have—it reminds her to eat! she comforts it when it's scared of the dark!—and it'd be such a contrast (and maybe enviable/aspirational?) to a more "normal" revenant-vespertine relationship.

He’d had the upper hand in their dealings before that, but he also set things up so that when he was mind controlled she’d have the chance to magically enslave him before he killed her. (And then he does say that he wants her dead for that—but this is after he had a very clear choice between killing her and this situation, and he chose to be magically enslaved!)
- If you want to make it shippy/sexy please do go ahead and do that!
- It is so gloriously fucked up and I want so much more. I love femdommy power dynamics and I love the whole thorny implications of him putting himself under her power even though he knew he’d want to kill her for it. I would really just like to roll around in those implications.
- How did he decide what he was going to do? How do they manage with each other afterwards? Their whole plotline seemed like setup for something, and I'm really curious about what...
- Also really into them saving each other's lives.
- There are also parallels between what Telakar did with Elena and what Isladar did with Kiriel—obviously those are very different relationships, of course, and Isladar has a grand plan—but it's there.
- I love all the emotional weirdness with the demons, and the ways that despite being alien some of them do clearly care for specific humans.

- I love Carly’s struggle between vengeance for her dead and wanting to keep the friends she has now alive, and her relationships with ancient car-shaped aliens who’ve been through the desperate vengeance stage and are now more ambivalent about violence than she is. In a lot of ways she’s currently where the transformer characters were back when the war was starting—last of her family/clan, joining a side in the hope of vengeance and survival. And they get that, but they also see her heading down a path that led them into endless war that they’re not really all that positive about (plus the whole squishy human thing).
- Carly’s Iron Apprenticeship with Arcee is a great chance to learn about robot family structures! (What do they mean by brother/sister anyway?)
- Arcee has been where Carly is now before—consumed by vengeance, starting out a new iron apprenticeship with a powerful mentor—and now she's no longer that person, but she's got this younger alien version of herself staring at her. It's a fun thorny situation for them both!
- Thundercracker is my other fave because I love a villain with honor and doubts! He hates the Autobots for turning his brother into a ~plaything but is uncomfortable with murdering squishy humans because they are comparatively harmless, and has qualms about the eviller stuff his side is doing. I’d like to see that go somewhere interesting! And it’d be fun to see him learn what actually happened to Skywarp—maybe even talk to him, even if that means going into Autobot territory…
- Some kind of meeting between the two of them could be really fun—Carly’s passionate desire to fight even though she’s surrounded by giant robots who think she’s terrifyingly fragile to be in battle at all + Thundercracker pitying humans in general for being tiny and fragile.
- Also she’s the only one on her side who actually tried to treat POW-sorta Skywarp dishonorably. She tried to shoot him!
- The two of them being forced to team up would be fun!
- This is an ongoing canon with an issue due to come up um a day after signups close, so: I am really hoping Thundercracker's plot is building towards him leaving the Decepticons and not dying, but either seems possible. If he does die I'd be into fixit where he does not.

- I really adore the Sarkic founders and their idealism combined with body horror powers god-eating. I'm into the Klavigars' devotion to Ion and their relationships with each other. (Feel free to go shippy or non-shippy in the Klavigar pairs; I nommed as & but like / too.)
- Nadox and Lovataar are from the evil empire Ion rebelled against, Orok might be too—how do they feel about it? Are they drawn to each other because no one else gets it? Especially as time goes on and more and more of Ion's followers grew up in his Deathless Empire, and they get closer to destroying the Daevite Empire itself...
- For Orok, I'm really intensely into the slave gladiator part of his backstory—I found the tale in which pre-Ion he had exactly one experience of someone being nice to him super iddy. How does he adjust to the rebellion after that?
- Adjusting to new members of the group—Orok was suspicious of Lovataar at first; how did Nadox feel about the two of them? How did everyone react to Ion bringing home a small murderous child?
- The Klavigars all have such different motives for joining the rebellion—Nadox was an idealist trying for reform before he even met Ion, Lovataar joined for love and then had an existential crisis, Orok joined the first person who ever acted like his opinions could matter and then had to deal with free will and real loyalty for the first time.
- Angst: the Klavigars survive their beloved messiah and their whole civilization. Mourning for that together or apart, returning to the ruins, trying to keep the memory alive with food or traditions.
- I'm also always a sucker for fixit. And time travel. And time travel fixit. (What if the war with the Mekhanites had ended in a truce somehow? )
- I'm into their weird body horror shapeshifting. How did these characters design their new forms? Slow process or fast? How do they fight? How do they go about an ordinary day? If someone is seriously injured, is it a problem that no one else really knows how their body works (or do they know each other so well it isn't a problem)?
- Halyna & Orok, mentorship—she seems to have joined the Kalmaktama as an adult, and she probably learned fighting and fleshcrafting and the culture from him. How did that go? What did he think of her batshit-even-for-Sarkics theology? She's a terrifying force of nature and also a loose cannon; would love to see her growing into that.
- Orok missed a lot of time in a coma (usually; nothing always happens in SCP). And that makes having him interact with modern characters fun! He skipped all the context that would make this make sense, even down to the existance of different proto- and neo-Sarkic cults.
- I like Varis as this reasonable karcist gradually ending up as the leader of a pan-Sarkic movement; plus the other Orok-and-the-modern stuff I mentioned above. It's fun that they're friends.

But she doesn't dar let Wol-ah (or any other woman) in on her secret, and Wol-ah canonically only figures out when she's dying. I could go for canon divergence/fixit where Wol-ah figures things out earlier or lives longer and they do get to date outside the palace, or something bittersweet about their missed opportunities. (Or emperor or retired emperor Jeok-yeon encountering Wol-ah's reincarnation, who seems to be a very happy lesbian warrior type.)
- Biseol/Jeok-yeon: loyalty kink! Biseol is the only person (well, except her mentor who lives up the mystic mentor mountain) who knows Jeok-yeon's secret; she's the only one who knows his. Most princes swap out their aides pretty regularly but these two have been together for centuries and know each other so well. I love how protective they are of each other and I'd love to see more of that, basically.

I also really love Qiao Wanmian and Shi Shui. They're fun, interesting characters. I'm fascinated by how, even though they were both in Sigu sect, they've largely made different ways through the male-dominated jianghu for most of the story (until the end, when QWM returns to the sect and takes up the challenge of leadership). I'd be interested in fic set at any point in which they've known each other, or even that compares their relationship in youth to their relationship post-canon. Where does the end of the story leave them? What challenges will they face in future?
