Philip and Shotaro are partners and are literally so amazing. I like everything about them, though I'm biased and like Philip more (Shotaro's great.) I would prefer non-sexual content for this ship. Literal sleeping together is great though. Same with romantic physical affection like holding hands and kisses. I headcanon Philip as aroace and though he does love Shotaro and is life partners with him, he doesn't understand romance/doesn't have previous relationships or know how they work.
Terui/Akiko get literally married and I love their dynamic :) I like how even when they’re canonically dating/married Terui still insists on calling Akiko boss and being a tsundere for the longest time about liking her.
For Philip and Wakana...pre-canon is nice, the two of them literally running away together is nice, saving Wakana and letting her move into the detective agency would be interesting (yes that would probably be a disaster. But a fun disaster, y'know...)

Iroha/Satoru are canon and I think they’re cute friends to lovers :) I like how they’re shy/nervous because they’ve never dated anyone else and they’re like 14 and don’t know what they’re doing.

I like thinking about the differences between Kyurangers (even between humans/humanoids- they were raised on different planets, there’s bound to be some difference). Exploring how different species/cultures express platonic love would be interesting!

Din/Strovi
I am so obsessed with how guarded Din is about his feelings (in general, but romantic feelings especially), and pretty much every attempt to read between the lines is so interesting to me (obliviousness? intentional repression? both? and why? is he worried it’ll distract him from his responsibilities? flustered easily and strongly avoids any sort of embarrassment/discomfort? does he not believe he can/should prioritize his own happiness?). Any exploration that gets into a bit more detail about what he’s actually feeling while still having some qualities of ambiguity/avoidance would be so *chefs kiss*. Strovi has also won over my entire heart with the way he walks the line between confidence/gallantry and earnestness/humility/vulnerability. I love how one of their main points of connection is their admiration of the other person’s role within the empire and their shared ideals of responsibility/service, and how so much of their relationship goes unspoken but implied (so that I can keep reading into it and speculating constantly).

I love their dynamic of Din trying to manage/adapt to Ana’s eccentricities but still pushing back on a lot of them. Their dialogue is so hilarious and it’s so fun and good to see that thread of humor maintained at the same time as their trust and respect for each other grows. Their conversation near the end of The Tainted Cup really got me with the solidarity and mentorship angle of their relationship. I’ve been constantly wondering about Ana’s backstory so (especially given their increasing trust levels with each other) I’d be super interested in reading a conversation between them about that! There’s so much baggage around Saypur/The Continent, the relationship they had at the Academy and the way it ended, and yet they still care about each other in their own messy ways two decades later? The tragedy of it all, the happiness they might’ve had if they hadn’t been so broken by their conflicting loyalties and past traumas? Gets me every time. Does Shara give any acknowledgement of Vohannes’s projects post-City of Stairs, possibly as motivation for her work throughout the other books in the trilogy? The reveal about these two at the end of City of Miracles is so so cool but it also always leaves me wondering how they would’ve processed that change together. * Zhao Yunlan! I adore his calculated casual/scruffy/faux bad boy aesthetic, how he disguises astuteness and absolute commitment to his work with slouching and lollipops. (Please don't tidy him up, even temporarily!) His combo of confidence in his abilities and awareness of his own faults is catnip to me. I love that he overcomes his early-canon prejudice to become a vocal champion for Dixingren.
* Chu Shuzhi, with his loyalty and soft-hearted gruffness. At first, he's remote and stoic, feeling like he doesn't really belong at the SID, in Haixing, or in Dixing either. By late canon, he's a key member of the team, but he still isn't exactly good at self-indulgence. Maybe he needs to work on on that?
* Ye Huo, living in the grey areas, trying to do right by the fight club kids when he has no legal standing and nowhere to turn for help. I'm also interested in 1) his feelings about the Envoy letting him stay in Haixing, and 2) when/why he might choose to unmask.
I love Shen Wei, Da Qing and the rest of the SID team a lot, too, of course. Zhao Xinci is my problematic fav. Feel free to have any of them (or other characters) show up.

Ma Seong-jun is basically holding Son Ik-su back with the strength of bravado but is terrified by him; Son Ik-su speaks scornfully of Ma Seong-jun but also says to watch him and puts a lot of faith in his abilities. And they spend a lot of time in each other's company. It's a dynamic wide open for manipulation, dub-con, blackmail, threats, violence, kidnapping, all kinds of bad stuff, and I'd love to see any of that. At the same time, I think Ma Seong-jun is catnip to people with daddy issues (see: Yoon-hee looking to him for protection, Chung Dam looking for approval--both things they lacked from their fathers) and Son Ik-su has a TON of daddy issues. If he could key into that and poke Son Ik-su just the right way without making him explode (or, idk, making him explode the right way) then he could probably have a pet gangster on a leash lols. But I'm not sure he would ever figure that out.

I've watched this movie twice in the past year, and it is quite good! My favorite character is predictably Lee Joong-gu (yes, I just love Park Sung-woong) and I'm pretty much up for shipping him with anyone. Feel free to include multiple of these, even, if you want to; I just want to see Lee Joong-gu involved in some shippy business.
As a side note: dub-con and non-con are fine for any of these ships, going in either direction. As is general toxic behavior! These are simply not nice people lol.
For Jung Chung/Lee Joong-gu: It's all about the rivalry! The love-hate and the banter and the almost hitting each other with a car! Also, these two don't trust each other and yet Lee Joong-gu still appears to feel really betrayed when he thinks Jung Chung would actually turn him in to the police.
For Lee Joong-gu/Lee Ja-sung: These two honestly don't interact much in canon. But I'm a strong believer in my fave/the main character ships and this is one of those. Joong-gu originally sees Ja-sung as just Jung Chung's underling, but by the end he's able to guess that Ja-sung is the one sending men to kill him and the one who will win the board election (he doesn't for a minute imagine it will be Jang Su-ki, for example) and even congratulates him from a distance.
For Lee Joong-gu/Kang Hyung-chul: I just think there was mad sexual tension here. The fuckign glares and smiles they throw at each other. The insults and banter. The implication that they've gone through this song and dance of Kang trying to get dirt on Joong-gu over and over again. The way Kang absolutely plays Joong-gu with those photographs. There's a lot going on.

Misawa bickering and Kazuya teasing Eijun are always enjoyable as is the way they can communicate with just a look but are also still morons who miscommunicate. The Biggles books span a hefty chunk of the 20th century, from World War I to the 1960s; which time period you prefer to write about is up to you. However, I have a soft spot for the WWI period, not just because of the authenticity of the flying scenes but also because of the all too believable shift in Biggles himself from a daring, gallant, and very young hero to a tired, burnt-out veteran. At the other end of his long and active career, he becomes leader of a team of special service police officers during the Cold War. I find the close friendship among the colleagues with whom he shares digs to be very appealing. Especially fascinating also is his evolving relationship with Erich von Stalhein as they "bury the hatchet" of their antagonism, ultimately becoming friends.
Feel free to include any other canonical characters appropriate to the period in which you set your story. I don't like anything more than PG13: explicit sexual detail is definitely a DNW for me. DNW crossovers or AUs, except canon divergence. DNW first- or second-person fic. DNW actual supernatural activity. I'm fine with having original characters murdered in casefic or killed in battle; and references to canonical deaths are okay. However, DNW any requested characters dying in the story.

In The Flash, I love the snarky banter of ColdFlash encounters, as well as ethical dilemmas about their CSI/thief relationship. I enjoy stories about the Rogues (even though, canonically, the group was never formed.) I'd like to see a focus on Barry as a CSI. And the snarky relationship that Cisco has with Hartley goes back to their old S.T.A.R. Labs rivalry, and continues throughout the series. Having said that, I love Team Flash as an ensemble; so feel free to include other characters if you want.
And of course, Snart belongs also to Legends. So for Mick and Len, the story could be based either in Central City or on the Waverider, dealing with past, present ... or future. (No way is Snart dead!) As for the rest of the crew, the friendship between Ray and Nate was always rewarding. However, Legends is an ensemble, as far as I'm concerned: the evershifting roster of old, new, and newest, all managing to barely work together at best, but succeeding in their weird and wonderful missions. So feel free to include any of the other characters.
